This guideline describes the deployment of Tekomar XPERT software. Please check our website for features of the product: http://www.tekomar.com/xpert

Required files/information:

Program installer | file name: *.msi (and optional Microsoft .NET 4.7.1 framework for older operating systems)

License file *.tpl. Alternatively, a product key supplied with an earlier version (before 2.7) or Single sign-on (SSO) can be used. | file name: [INSTALLATIONNAME]_yymmdd.tpl

Configuration required for setting up an Installation (ship) in the software | file name: [INSTALLATIONNAME]_[ID]_yymmddhhmmss.tpi

The generic program installer has to be downloaded from our website (see Setup). Specific License file, Configuration are sent out by E-mail upon delivery in a *.zip package. | file name: XPERT_keys_config_[CLIENT]_yymmdd.zip.

Note: For off-line clients make sure to include the respective License file, Configuration and ImportDefinition on the CD-ROM or USB mass storage - together with the contents of the 
"installer package" (it contains next to the program installer also the redistributable for the Microsoft .NET 4.7.1 framework).

If you are upgrading from a previous version 2.X, first uninstall the old application (from control panel) and then proceed with the setup of version 3. No data will be deleted during uninstall. Just make sure to locate the same workspace as before after setup and activation.

Required actions:

1.Download (or have it on CD-ROM or USB storage device) and install the software. Refer to Setup.

2.Activation the software using the respective License file. Refer to Activation.

3.Configuration of the software using *.tpi Configuration file (or online repository):

oSet the Workspace location.
